As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for the ongoing development, support and maintenance of our Salesforce.com platform, within a small team of Product Owners, Salesforce Architects, Developers and Admins.

You will work alongside a team of software engineers and analysts using technology to solve business problems. The team structure gives opportunity for growth and to have an impact from day 1.

Your responsibilities

• Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs
• Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
• Creating timelines and development goals
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
• Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software

• Working with 3^rd party vendors and external APIs

• Focus the organization’s use of data towards what best serves the mission

• Striving towards coding best practices and data quality

Skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering
• Previous work experience with application and software development
• Experienced in Apex, JavaScript, LWC and VisualForce.
• Competency in HTML, XML, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP-based web services
• Experience in SFDX and CI/CD
• Good communication skills
• Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services

Experience required

• 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer
• 4+ years working with Salesforce
• com certified Platform Developer I
• Additional Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
